The Chairman of Ru’ya’s Message
Praise to Allah, He who taught (the use of) the pen, taught man that which he knew not, and peace be upon our most generous prophet.
To our dear and esteemed Guardians, and to our children, the pioneers of Ru’ya:
To quote our King Salman bin Abdulaziz,
Education is the pillar which makes the dreams of our communities come true.
I, along with the employees of this school, have always made sure to create an educational environment for our children, starting from Pre-K and on, to the rest of the Academic years in the future for both boys and girls. This is so they may flourish in a model environment that teaches them to pride themselves in their religious and national identity, and their language. Our school has adopted a bilingual curriculum which balances both Arabic and English so they may nurture their mother tongue while effectively communicating with the rest of the world.
Our school was founded on four main pillars: Our responsibility towards providing a learning experience which keeps up with the newest learning techniques, our responsibility towards children’s different abilities, and our responsibility towards our teaching faculty.
Our responsibility towards providing a learning experience which keeps up with the newest learning techniques
Our schools keep up with the latest developments, research, and techniques used to support the learning process. Several years ago, our school introduced the STEAM program which relies on project-based learning to develop 21st century skills. Our school has also invested in learning through 3D technology. It also encourages e-learning through its subscription to international websites which support primary subjects so that our students Our schools keep up with the latest developments, research, and techniques used to support the learning process. Our responsibility towards children’s different abilities
From the beginning we were adamant on the importance of including all students in our classrooms. It is a part of the students’ right to receive an education that aligns with their abilities. As a result, our school embraces students with autism and/or learning disabilities and has provided them with programs supported by specialized medical centers which will assist these students by providing them with well rounded services that will aid their development in all aspects: academically, mentally, and socially.
Our responsibility towards society
We believe in the importance of providing fair learning opportunities for all students who seek a distinguished form of education. Therefore, our schools have provided 90 scholarships since our launch in 2014. The amount of students on the scholarship program represent approximately 11% of all students in Ru’ya. This way, the education they receive may pave the way for better opportunities in the future. Our schools have also invested in summer programs which are provided during the holy month of Ramadan as a means to support charities. We have also designated our annual charity sale program towards sponsoring orphans through the Benaa foundation. We aim to encourage the values of our religion in our students and instill the love of giving and gratitude through helping others.
Our responsibility towards our teaching faculty
To conclude, I’d like to direct my appreciation and respect towards you and everyone who has assisted in the development of our schools since its founding to this day from faculty members, admissions employees, and other essential workers as you have put your trust in us and invested your effort; therefore, making Ru’ya a beacon of knowledge to all. We ask Allah almighty for his guidance and blessings.
Ru’ya’s Chairman,
Mohammed bin Yousef Ad Dossary
