Our students

Our goal is to fulfill our mission by developing the capabilities of each individual student.

We provide a student-oriented education within a supportive environment that encourages creativity and learning. Using tailored instruction fully designed to cater to every student’s needs, students are able to make connections between the learning materials and the outside world, allowing them to reach their full potential every day.

Tailored instruction plans are designed after screening, continuous assessments, and teachers’ observations. Our school believes in collaborating with students’ parents by engaging them to participate meaningfully in their child’s learning to produce the best results.

The school believes in inclusive education by supporting students who are below grade level, and challenging students who are beyond the expected level. Therefore, differentiated instruction is applied in classwork, reading levels, and homework based on their academic performance.

Our goal is to achieve our mission by providing our students with knowledge and life skills.

We seek to enable our students to learn with joy and passion using tools and strategies that keep them engaged during the learning process. Through integrating our values with our curricula, students enjoy experimenting outside and inside classrooms and utilize their knowledge in everyday life.

Our goal is to achieve our mission of creating confident and responsible learners, enabling them to lead a successful life.

Our Facilities

Ru’ya School was built specifically for children from ages of 1 and half to 12 years.

In the design, we considered the main factors to create a safe environment that is also appealing for the students including classrooms that are  spacious with natural lighting.

Safety and Security :

  • An advanced fire system in all schools’ facilities approved by the Civil Defense.

  • Monthly mock fire drill training for employees and students as well as emergency exits spread across the school.
  • Easy access to all school facilities.

  • Surveillance cameras in all classrooms, playgrounds, gates and school facilities.
  • Three outdoor playgrounds extending on more than 1000 square meters, and shaded to protect students’ from direct sunlight.

  • Floors are made from vinyl to protect our students against fall injuries – God forbid – and for its efficiency in continuous sterilization, and to protect students with allergies.

  • Excellent quality furniture, toys, and tools carefully selected to suit the ages, needs, and abilities of our students from local and international companies.

Smart Classrooms:

  • Classrooms are fully equipped with the latest technology to keep up with the dynamic technical developments in education.

  • Classrooms take into account the practicality, with large areas and natural lighting.

Keeping pace with technological progress is one of the main pillars on which the curricula are built, and therefore we started implementing three-dimensional education through VR (virtual reality). Incorporating 3D education has proven to encourage teamwork and cooperation, which led to positive changes in students’ behavior and communication patterns and improved classroom interaction.

Health

  • A nurse is present during school hours to keep up with hygiene and sterilization of all facilities and tools on a daily basis.
  • Follow-up of emergency cases for students and employees.
  • includes the student’s details and health needs (e.g. allergies, health conditions, etc).
  • Routine check-ups on student hygiene to prevent and limit transmitted diseases.

Our staff

Professional Development Programs

All-year training: This includes weekly meetings for each group from each grade level with the supervisor to review weekly plans for the current week and the upcoming weeks.

Beginning of the year training: This is held for a period of 4 weeks and includes essential courses for all Ru’ya schools teachers.

Our schools conducts continuous professional development programs for all teachers and staff – each within their respective fields.

End of 1st semester training: This training is held for 5 days, and revolves around analyzing students’ scores, evaluating plans, and prepping for the upcoming semester.

End of year training: This training is held for 2 weeks. Plans are evaluated and reflections are presented in preparation for the next year’s plans.

Co-teaching and cooperation

Effective cooperation encourages constant observation between coworkers in an environment of professional partnership, communication, experimenting, and constructive criticism. Staff members work alongside each other to ensure that our students receive the best learning opportunities through exchanging experience and expertise.

In the spirit of achieving cooperation, we organize specific times for each grade level for planning. Co-teaching includes two or more teachers taking on the responsibility of teaching all or some students in the classroom using various methods.

External training

Every year, our schools hosts an external training agency from and beyond the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia so that we may benefit from the expertise of different trainers from various universities and training agencies and transmit the knowledge to our teachers, and all local teachers through the workshops that our schools conduct to all those interested in the educational field. This aids us in achieving our vision and social responsibility.
